Hi, there! My name is Olivia and I am a second year master’s student at DePaul University in Chicago, IL. My current research involves using 12s eDNA meta-barcoding for mapping neotropical freshwater fish distributions, with a subsequent bioinformatic pipeline connected to a newly established of genetic reference library for freshwater fishes in Western Ecuador at 12s, 16s, and COI, also created during my thesis.
