Butterfly Life Cycle

The butterfly life cycle is the process of change and growth that a butterfly goes through from the time it is an egg until the time it is an adult butterfly. The life cycle of a butterfly typically has four stages: egg, larva, pupa, and adult. The egg is laid by the adult butterfly, which hatches into a larva or caterpillar. The caterpillar eats and grows, eventually forming a pupa. Inside the pupa, the caterpillar changes into an adult butterfly. The adult butterfly then emerges from the pupa and begins the cycle again by laying eggs.
